Using acid dyes on animal-based fibers and a hot process sets and achieves vibrant, rich colors. For plant-based fibers Procion dyes are used with a cold process. Dyes can be applied in both powder or liquid form depending upon the effect one is trying achieve.

To protect your yarn before use, store out of direct light. To maintain vibrant colors use cool water for washing, wash with like colors, use a wool safe detergent and avoid friction. Lay flat to dry.
